Nesta quarta-feira (25\/12), a Advocacia-Geral da Uni\u00e3o (AGU) solicitou ao Banco Central do Brasil informa\u00e7\u00f5es detalhadas sobre poss\u00edveis inconsist\u00eancias na cota\u00e7\u00e3o do d\u00f3lar exibida na plataforma de buscas do Google. Durante o feriado de Natal, o buscador apresentou o valor de R$ 6,38, R$ 0,20 acima do \u00faltimo fechamento oficial registrado em 23\/12, que foi de R$ 6,18.<\/p>\n

A Procuradoria-Geral da Uni\u00e3o (PGU), \u00f3rg\u00e3o vinculado \u00e0 AGU, poder\u00e1 atuar no caso caso sejam constatadas irregularidades. Segundo o advogado-geral da Uni\u00e3o, Jorge Messias, o objetivo \u00e9 combater a dissemina\u00e7\u00e3o de dados econ\u00f4micos equivocados que possam gerar impactos para a sociedade brasileira.<\/p>\n

A cota\u00e7\u00e3o oficial do d\u00f3lar no Brasil, chamada Ptax, n\u00e3o \u00e9 definida em dias de feriado. Contudo, a exibi\u00e7\u00e3o do valor inflacionado pela plataforma causou estranheza, especialmente por sua diverg\u00eancia com o \u00faltimo fechamento. A AGU argumenta que, mesmo sem defini\u00e7\u00e3o oficial, a apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o de valores inconsistentes pode induzir usu\u00e1rios ao erro e afetar decis\u00f5es financeiras.<\/p>\n

\nA cota\u00e7\u00e3o oficial do d\u00f3lar no Brasil durante o feriado de 25\/12;
\nDados sobre o valor da moeda norte-americana em outros pa\u00edses na mesma data;
\nInforma\u00e7\u00f5es sobre como cota\u00e7\u00f5es internacionais podem influenciar a exibi\u00e7\u00e3o de valores no Brasil durante feriados.<\/p>\n

Este n\u00e3o \u00e9 o primeiro caso envolvendo o Google e a exibi\u00e7\u00e3o de valores divergentes para a moeda norte-americana. Em novembro deste ano, a plataforma mostrou o d\u00f3lar cotado a R$ 6,18, enquanto o valor real na ocasi\u00e3o era de R$ 5,74.<\/a> Naquele momento, a empresa reconheceu o erro e afirmou que tomaria medidas corretivas para evitar novos problemas.<\/p>\n

Ap\u00f3s a notifica\u00e7\u00e3o da AGU, o valor de R$ 6,38 foi retirado das buscas no Google.\u00a0 O Banco Central ainda n\u00e3o se manifestou sobre o pedido da AGU, mas h\u00e1 expectativa de que as informa\u00e7\u00f5es sejam fornecidas em car\u00e1ter de urg\u00eancia. A investiga\u00e7\u00e3o busca esclarecer se o erro foi resultado de uma falha t\u00e9cnica, de fontes de dados n\u00e3o oficiais ou de outro fator que comprometa a transpar\u00eancia das informa\u00e7\u00f5es econ\u00f4micas.<\/p>\n
